Prior to joining the cast of SMOSH, Guchi widely showcased her talent in LA's stand up scene. Her wins include: streaming on NETFLIX IS A JOKE RADIO (SiriusXM), being named a Laugh Factory Fresh Face, placing as a Finalist in the ABFF Because They're Funny Comedy Festival's Breakout Comedian Of The Year competition, recording a set for Cracked Comedy, as well as appearing on the emerging comedy showcase Newcomers, available to watch on Live Nation's streaming platform, VEEPS.

Her work is radically online — she has regularly appeared as a panelist on Kevin Langue's YouTube show, in addition to hosting her own YouTube interview series MATCHA MY ENERGY. She can be seen in commercials for Old Navy, Sephora, and Android. She is the Creative Director of improvisational performance group BMC Improv as well as an instructor of improv at the Teraski Budokan Japanese Community Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
